Views from the Blues

good

I’m looking to speak to Evertonians to get their views on all things Everton FC.

I would appreciate it if you would take the time to answer the below and email your responses back to me at LowerGwladysLad@Hotmail.com

fans

Everton have drastically improved in recent weeks and we are now in great form, but in your opinion – what went wrong over the course of the opening two thirds of the current campaign?

Roberto Martinez has had two completely different seasons since taking over at Everton – what are your views on the Spaniard?

Which Everton player(s) has stood out for you since August?

If you were to sum up this season in three words, what would they be?

What areas of the squad do we need to strengthen and who would you like to see leave Goodison Park in the next transfer window?

Do you think we can hold on to our prized assets such as John Stones, Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku?

What are your hopes and expectations for the summer ahead and next season?

What are your thoughts on Everton’s Chairman, his Board and financial matters at the Club?

If you were in charge at Everton – be it as the Manager or as Chairman, what things would you look to change at the Club (if any)?

Where do you see Everton (positionally, financially, as a brand and so on) in five years time?

Thank you.

  1. hi mark..
i think we’re we went wrong and ive been thinking about this, maybe we started with too much over confidence and far too much “it will be alright on the night “attitude when we didn’t win one game of a dreadful pre season…..martinez was far too stubborn in the first 6 months sticking with out of form players and simply not trying to change things when teams had worked us out,his constant shoe-horning of players like naismith and barkley to accommodate the hapless Barry was mind boggling. But he must take credit for how we’ve rescuded a pretty dire situation 2months ago,and maybe the penny has dropped as were seeing much better performances now he has a settled side and the signing of aaron lennon has to be applauded as he’s had a major impact on our performances,on that martinez deserves the summer and next season to recapture 13/14…..season in 3 words!!! (Alcaraz,Kiev!,United!) I think for some bizarre reason we’re gonna keep all our big hitters if they can see what ambition the board have this season which they have never shown in 15 nothingness years, kenwright needs to make a decision on this, just what direction is Everton FC heading in,what’s his ambition and does it match martinez ambition, massive summer in terms of first team strengthening.if I were to change anything it would be the dreadful non existent image of Everton FC worldwide the marketing department through deals with kitbag n bloody Chang need arse whopping for this continued mediocrity in non tv monies, when U see what LFC attract were simply a laughing stock.Unless we get a new ground/new board sadly I see us in the same place still punching above our weight and settling for 6/7th place finishes which is totally unacceptable for this club .
